Now Hiring: Summer Program Paraprofessional – Fairhaven, MA

Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a school in Fairhaven, MA and is seeking Paraprofessionals to support a Summer ASD Program serving PreK–Elementary students.

Position Details:

• Start Date: July 6, 2026
• Contract Length: 4 weeks
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday
• Location: Fairhaven, MA
• Pay Rate: Up to $23/hour , based on licensure and experience

Role Overview:
Paraprofessionals will work in summer school ASD classrooms , supporting students with:

• Instructional activities
• Social-emotional needs
• Classroom routines and transitions

The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
