Fleet Analyst

Van Pool Transportation LLC What You Will Do: - Conduct detailed quantitative, qualitative, and root cause analysis to recommend various maintenance processes, operations, fleet reliability, and fleet replacement models to improve quality and reduce cost.
- Responsible for the analysis and development of productivity measurements to simplify and/or improve processes, determining performance standards by tracking, trending, and benchmarking production data.
- Conducting operations and vehicle fleet cost and usage rate analyses.
- Responsible for utilizing, preparing, and creating computerized management reports from the FMIS system.
- The position is responsible for reporting and analyzing maintenance work orders, inventory, fuel, and other fleet management measures.
- Develop, implement, and maintain department activity, accounting, and statistical tracking spreadsheets and databases.
- This includes weekly, monthly, quarterly, year-end reporting.
- Compile, prepare and analyze advanced maintenance data to identify root cause, component failures, and reliability data, and formulate reports for Fleet management analysis.
- Assist in tracking, analyzing, and presenting vehicle fleet financial and rate model information and resolving data issues within the division.
- Responsible for updating executive data files/reports at the request of management.
- Assist with the preparation of the yearly fleet rate model and replacement schedule. Maintain replacement costs and collect depreciation information. Reconcile monthly inventory.
- Assist with data within FMIS system to develop and maintain data integrity.
- Develop and conduct fleet surveys of various department programs and services.
- Perform special projects within department/division as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business management or related course work preferred.
- 3+ years' experience mining data as a data analyst
- High degree of independent thinking and responsibility.
- Proven analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization.
- Experience with data analytic programs (Power Query, Power BI, etc.)
- Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations.
- Strong SQL or Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools.
