Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation team in Boston, MA as a traveling Physical Therapist where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. This role supports adult and mixed outpatient caseloads with emphasis on skilled, evidence-based interventions and strong patient handling.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers from AHA or American Red Cross required.
• Minimum 1+ year of physical therapy experience in an outpatient setting required. This includes patient handling, transfer techniques, and caseload management.
• Required skills: strong interpersonal communication, time management, ability to work independently, flexibility, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of physical therapy experience in an outpatient setting preferred.
• Experience in hospital-based outpatient rehab facilities preferred.

• Schedule pattern includes a mix of start times noted in facility schedule: typical weekly coverage includes Monday, Wednesday full day, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday with varied start/end times per departmental schedule.
• No major holidays, no weekends, no call.
• Dress code: scrubs or business casual.

Provide high-quality outpatient physical therapy services within a hospital-affiliated outpatient rehabilitation setting. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, document outcomes, and contribute to efficient patient flow.
