Production Supervisor
The Production Supervisor facilitates the development of high-performance teams within the plant and is responsible for the complete management of a product Value Stream, including planning, manufacturing, and continuous improvement. The incumbent is responsible for creating a culture of engagement within and between the teams to directly impact and consistently meet plant objectives and deliverables. This position is also accountable for ensuring that high performance teams work collaboratively in the decision-making processes and that the decisions are in alignment with plant goals and objectives, World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards, Key Performance Indicator's (KPI), OSHA requirement and current Human Resources (HR) guidelines.

Drive operational excellence using lean six-sigma principles.

Establish appropriate shop floor based manufacturing systems, controls, and visually managed metrics to track results, quality and service.

Ensure that operations are in compliance with all government regulations related to product safety, employee safety, and environmental standards including OSHA and EPA.

Review of cost and budgetary commitments to deliver annually our financial commitments while achieving the customers' expectations

3-5 years of applied professional experience working in production in an industrial/manufacturing environment

Strong leadership skills with the ability to positively influence others and manage change within a diverse manufacturing operation encompassing up to three (3) shifts with diverse processes and products

Effective change management and conflict management skills

A passion for safety with personal accountability and proven ability to drive safety

Demonstrated experience and comprehension of routinely-applicable financial concepts

Demonstrated experience in good business judgment/decision making, strategic planning/goal setting, problem-solving/correction action planning

Proven ability to plan and implement at both strategic and operational levels

Excellent interpersonal and problem solving capabilities to work effectively in manufacturing and team environments

Ability to convey goals and needs to the shop floor and organization in the context of customer needs and the competitive environment that surrounds us

Well versed in ISO standards and Lean manufacturing

The Saint-Gobain Bonded Abrasives manufacturing facility is the manufacturer of bonded abrasives; natural or synthetic grains molded into numerous shapes of grinding wheels. Super abrasive Wheels manufactures products using the world's hardest materials: diamond or cubic boron nitride (CBN) and are in the form of grinding wheels; used to shape materials that are too hard or too fragile for conventional abrasives.

Pay Transparency:
Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position, which is $92,000 to $142,000 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is TARGET BONUS12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $103,040 to $159,040. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
