Oliver Inc., a leading provider of innovative printing and packaging solutions, is seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, components, and manufacturing equipment, while supporting general facility maintenance when needed. What You’ll Do
As our Electro Mechanical Technician, you will:
Construct, maintain, and test electrical systems and components, including installing and repairing equipment.
Perform trial runs of machinery to ensure performance and quality standards are met.
Monitor proper and safe operation of equipment in the machine shop.
Support the maintenance and repair/replacement of presses and other production equipment, including assemblies and sub-assemblies.
Troubleshoot and perform mechanical and electrical repairs on production machinery.
Read and interpret schematics.
Maintain inventory of supplies and spare parts; prepare purchase orders when needed.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on electromechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
Assist with facilities projects as needed (carpentry, general maintenance, etc.).
What We’re Looking For
You’re a fit for our Electro Mechanical Technician, if you have:
Broad knowledge of electrical and mechanical/machining systems with strong troubleshooting skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
3–5 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or related technical roles.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Strong communication skills for working with team members, vendors, and in small group settings.
Solid math skills (basic arithmetic, fractions, decimals).
Problem-solving ability with adaptability to handle varying situations.
Physical ability to stand and walk for full shifts, with some lifting and pulling required.
