Picture your day starting at 2:00 pm: you walk into the dock office at our Gloucester Row site ready to set the pace. You review the board, confirm coverage for the shift, and make sure your team is aligned on procedures. As the Dock Operations Office Lead Coordinator, you partner closely with your Manager to uphold daily operating standards and keep the dock running smoothly, safely, and on time.

What your shift looks like (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm)

• Lead, coach, and train the dock office team on procedures and best practices; ensure essential coverage is maintained throughout the shift.
• Authorize product for shipment and receipt; verify orders and records for accuracy so every load is accounted for.
• Track and investigate any missing or delayed shipments; organize driver delivery details (departures, returns, volumes, issues).
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date system data; perform inventory and logistics transactions, including exception reporting.
• Run daily inventory reports and keep computer records current.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives to meet customer requirements and resolve issues quickly.
• Flag and help resolve any issues with drivers or loads; promptly inform your supervisor and assist through to resolution.
• Protect the dock by following security procedures and promoting a safe, positive work environment.
• Identify safety concerns and propose cost-saving opportunities.
• Pitch in with other duties as requested.

Data, documentation, and verification

• Record daily inbound and outbound shipments with precision.
• Execute inventory and logistics operations in the system; create and manage exceptions when needed.
• Organize driver activity information so the operation has a clear picture of the day.

What you bring

• Distribution experience and familiarity with dock/warehouse operations.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Comfort with basic computer skills and data entry.

Schedule and pay

• Shift: 2nd
• Hours: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm
• Pay rate: $21.00 per hour
