Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 DOE
Position Overview
G. Greene Construction is seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Class A Truck Driver to support our construction operations. This role involves transporting materials, equipment, and machinery
to and from job sites while ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with all regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dump trucks, tractor-trailers, low-beds, etc.)
Transport construction materials, aggregates, and heavy equipment to job sites
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
Secure loads properly and ensure safe transport of materials and equipment
Coordinate with dispatch, yard personnel, and site supervisors for timely deliveries
Maintain accurate logs and comply with DOT regulations
Input vehicle issues, maintenance needs, and daily reports into HCSS Equipment360)
Maintain cleanliness of assigned truck, including interior and exterior, to company standards
Report any vehicle issues, maintenance needs, or safety concerns
Assist with loading/unloading when necessary
Qualifications
Valid CDL Class A license (required)
Clean driving record
Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
Experience operating commercial trucks in construction or similar environment
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications
Experience hauling heavy equipment (lowbed/flatbed)
Hoisting license (Massachusetts)
Familiarity with local routes and job site conditions
Basic mechanical knowledge
