Houseperson – Full Time

Cambria Boston–Somerville is looking for a friendly, reliable Houseperson to join our team.

Located on the border of Somerville and Cambridge, Cambria reflects the creativity and energy of the neighborhood around it. We offer a modern, comfortable stay for travelers who want to feel connected to where they are—not just passing through. Whether guests stay for one night or one week, our goal is to make them feel right at home.

About the Role

Housepersons are an important part of our housekeeping team and help keep the hotel clean, organized, and running smoothly. This is a hands-on role that’s perfect for someone who enjoys staying active, working as part of a team, and taking pride in a job well done.

What You’ll Do

• Move clean and used linens throughout the hotel
• Support Room Attendants by delivering supplies and helping as needed
• Keep guest floors stocked with towels, linens, and amenities
• Clean public spaces and back-of-house areas
• Keep housekeeping areas, carts, and equipment organized
• Communicate with teammates to keep things running smoothly
• Help create a clean, welcoming environment for our guests

Schedule

We’re looking for team members with flexible availability , including days, nights, and weekends .

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Comfortable reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items
• Able to bend, squat, twist, and move as needed
• Able to stand for up to six (6) hours at a time
• Flexible schedule availability
• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus, but not required
