What You’ll Do

• Design and develop innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable packaging solutions
• Evaluate and test packaging materials to ensure durability and compliance
• Optimize packaging processes to reduce waste and improve efficiency
• Collaborate across R&D, production, logistics, and marketing teams
• Analyze packaging costs and identify opportunities for savings
• Lead packaging projects from concept through implementation
• Support equipment design and commissioning to ensure packaging-machine compatibility
• Drive continuous improvement through data, documentation, and cross-functional leadership
• Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and environmental regulations

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 5–8 years of experience in packaging design, preferably in food manufacturing
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and packaging software
• Familiarity with ISTA and ASTM standards
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with sustainability initiatives and product lifecycle management
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is a strong plus
• A collaborative mindset and leadership presence
