As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with store teams and visitors while providing a welcoming customer service presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including sales floors, common areas, loading areas, and exterior perimeter, noting unusual conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance and notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee traffic, assisting with entry and exit procedures, vendor deliveries, and crowd flow during peak shopping periods.
• Complete detailed written reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations during shift briefings and/or post turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
