Role Overview
We're seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an early-career engineer who is passionate about AI and wants to make a direct impact in healthcare technology. You'll work closely with our founding team and have the chance to shape our technical direction from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications that integrate AI capabilities into healthcare workflows
- Collaborate directly with cross-functional teams including product, design, and potentially customers
- Build scalable, robust systems that handle sensitive healthcare data with the highest standards
- Contribute to architectural decisions and help establish engineering best practices
- Stay at the forefront of AI developments and integrate new technologies into our platform
Requirements
Experience & Background
- 0-4 years of software engineering experience with a track record at high-performing organizations
- Experience at a high-growth startup (preferably Tier 1 VC-backed), big tech company , or as a former founder/founding engineer
- Evidence of strong coding abilities through side projects or active GitHub profile
Education
- Computer Science degree with high GPA (3.6+ minimum) - exceptional experience may substitute
- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals
Technical Skills
- Deep interest and native fluency in AI tools - this is non-negotiable and should be a genuine passion/hobby
- Interest in Rust as an indicator of intellectual curiosity and systems thinking
- Full-stack technical proficiency rather than narrow specialization
- Experience with our core tech stack is highly valued: Rust, Remix, React, TypeScript, Python, AWS, Kubernetes, AI/LLMs
- Ability to work across the entire technology stack as needed

- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Demonstrated work ethic, grit, and intellectual curiosity
- Thoughtful approach to problem-solving and decision-making
Location Requirements
- Must be willing to work in-person 5 days/week in Boston
- Either currently based in Boston or have strong personal motivations for relocating (family ties, grew up in the area, significant other, etc.)
