• Location: Arlington, Massachusetts 02476 (Greater Boston area)
• Assignment Type: Travel healthcare job
• Setting: Hospital / Acute Care
• Start Date: July 30, 2025
• End Date: October 29, 2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours/week
• Typical Hours per Week: 36
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• On-Call: No on-call required
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,170 - $1,200

COTA Job Requirements – Massachusetts

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain
• Rehabilitation Therapy certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a COTA preferred (new graduates welcome)
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or hospital experience preferred
• Completion of all required credentialing and background checks
• Covid-19 test within 72 hours prior to start date, with results within 48 hours prior to start
• 8 hours of Dementia Training (can be completed prior to start date)

COTA Responsibilities – Hospital Setting

• Assist Occupational Therapists in providing high-quality clinical support and patient care in a hospital environment
• Implement treatment plans and accurately document patient progress
• Support patients in regaining independence and improving quality of life through occupational therapy interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and nursing staff
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with facility and regulatory healthcare standards
