Overview
Registered Nurse – CCU travel assignment in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Start date: 04/20/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,461–$2,581 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12 hours, 3 nights per week. Work setting: hospital. This role supports a CCU unit with potential float to PCU as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill adult patients in CCU, including diagnostic assessment, monitoring, and interventions.
- Manage ventilated patients, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring as part of complex critical care care plans.
- Administer medications, titrate vasoactive infusions, and respond to rapid changes in patient status per unit protocols.
- Document care in the electronic medical record (Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred) and maintain accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and support staff) to coordinate care and ensure patient safety.
- Assist with patient and family education, discharge planning, and coordination of post-acute needs as appropriate.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards; participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license; license must be uploaded with profile. Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) required upfront with traveler submissions.
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS (required).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years current Critical Care experience; willingness to float to PCU as needed.
- Education: BSN preferred.
- Skills/Experience: Ventilation management, ICP monitoring, hemodynamic monitoring; Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred; TNCC preferred.
- Additional: Must have own vehicle; travel candidates must be prepared for quick interview/offer processes; RTO requests must be noted and verified at upload (requests after upload may not be approved).
