EDM Machinist with Programming - $45/hour (Direct Hire)

Responsibilities;

• Setting up and operating Sodick EDM (Wire Electrical Discharge Machines) produce precision parts according to specification
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, work orders, blueprints and engineering specifications
• Configuring machine parameters including offsets, wire threading, flushing systems and work piece alignment
• Working with tight tolerances and troubleshooting as needed
• Perform first-run inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision measurement tools to inspect work.
• Accurately complete logs, travelers, and inspection reports.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with EDM machines
• Comfortable working with tight tolerances and troubleshooting
• Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T and part tolerances
• Experience with using precision measurement tools

Hours:

Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm and they are offering some overtime now.

The pay is up to $45.00 based on experience (could go higher depending on exp)
