As a Security Officer Acute Care Patrol in Milton, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and/or requesting assistance when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures, while documenting observations, reporting incidents, and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Support emergency response activities by following post orders, assisting with direction and/or crowd management, and relaying information to appropriate personnel during medical or facility-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs, preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
