Goldfish Swim School is seeking applications for a Swim Instructor / Lifeguard in Braintree, MA . Duties and responsibilities:- Maintains attentive position in the pool areas at all times.
- Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents or casualties, makes rescues and administers first aid/CPR when necessary.
- Performs swim instruction based upon Goldfish Swim School Curriculum.
- Inspects pool areas before and after each 30-minute lesson, looking for possible maintenance, cleanliness or damage issues and reports problems to management as appropriate.
- Fulfills other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.
- 16 years or older
- Lifeguard certification, must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.
- Experience working as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor, camp counselor and/or childcare provider.
