Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a supportive school district in Worcester, MA for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students with fine motor, sensory, and functional skill needs in a K–12 school setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct occupational therapy services as directed by the supervising OT
- Implement treatment plans, activities, and interventions
- Assist students with fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Collect data and maintain accurate therapy documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support IEP goals and student progress monitoring
- Follow school district policies and state/federal guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts COTA License (required)
- Associate degree from an accredited OTA program
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
