Key Job Details – Boston Nursing Jobs

• Location: Boston, MA (02215) – Fenway neighborhood, close to public transportation and city amenities
• Employment Type: Travel RN contract
• Duration: 15 weeks (September 22, 2025 – January 3, 2026)
• Setting: Medical-Surgical Telemetry Float Pool (across 15 units)
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts (days/evenings/nights); includes one 12-hour and three 8-hour shifts every 4 weeks; every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Orientation: Weekly, every Monday (except holidays)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2470-$2540

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Minimum 3 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Basic computer skills and ability to use web-based healthcare applications
• Must reside over 50 miles from the facility (no local travelers)
• Must have a minimum 6-month separation from Beth Israel Lahey Health if previously employed

RN Responsibilities – Medical-Surgical Telemetry

• Float between 15 medical-surgical units: neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, general surgery, gynecology, GU, hips and joints, oncology, transplant (liver/kidney), vascular
• Deliver high-quality patient care with nurse-to-patient ratios of 4:1 (days) and 6:1 (nights)
• Perform unit-specific procedures: 12-lead EKGs, lasix infusions, blood transfusions, telemetry monitoring
• Administer nebulizers and collaborate with respiratory therapists for ventilator management
• Adapt quickly to new units and assignments, sometimes with short notice
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
• Participate in scheduled holiday and weekend coverage
