Physical Therapy Assistant Job Details
- Location: Worcester, MA 01604
- Healthcare Setting: Rehabilitation / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
- Employment Type: Travel Contract
- Start Date: August 22, 2025
- End Date: November 21, 2025
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- On-Call: No call required
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,230 - $1,270
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 1 year of PTA experience preferred; new graduates welcome
- Experience in rehabilitation therapy or skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred
- Rehabilitation Therapy certification
- Covid test required within 72 hours prior to start date; results available 48 hours before starting
- Resume and license verification required with application
- Assist Physical Therapists in executing treatment plans for patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery
- Deliver hands-on physical therapy and monitor patient progress
- Accurately document patient care and collaborate with the rehab healthcare team
- Support patients in achieving mobility and functional rehabilitation goals
- Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment for all patients
