CT Technologist
Our client is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join their radiology team on evening shift in the Berkshires.

THE OPPORTUNITY
This evening shift role offers the chance to work with a dynamic radiology team while enjoying excellent work-life balance in the beautiful Berkshires. You'll perform a broad range of imaging procedures with autonomy, applying your technical expertise to support accurate diagnoses. The position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits in a lower cost-of-living area compared to major metro markets.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Imaging & Technical Execution:
- Perform CT scans and X-ray imaging procedures across diverse patient populations
- Operate and maintain CT and radiography equipment to manufacturer standards
- Ensure image quality meets diagnostic requirements
- Apply proper positioning and technique for optimal patient outcomes
- Adapt imaging protocols based on patient condition and physician orders
Patient Care & Safety:
- Ensure comfort and safety of all patients during imaging procedures
- Explain procedures to patients and address concerns
- Follow radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
- Adhere to infection control practices and universal precautions
- Respond appropriately to patient emergencies
Systems & Documentation:
- Demonstrate proficiency in PACS, RIS, HIS, and CR/DR systems
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
- Enter data and manage workflow efficiently
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, referring physicians, and staff
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work independently in fast-paced clinical setting with sound judgment
- Collaborate with medical and administrative staff
- May assist with mentoring peers or supervisory duties as needed
- Take initiative to support departmental goals and patient care excellence
WHAT YOU BRING
Required:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT)
- Current CPR certification
- Valid Massachusetts Radiography License (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Minimum 1 year of X-ray technologist experience
- Proven ability to work independently in demanding clinical setting
- Strong interpersonal and patient care skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environment and changing priorities
Required Within First Year:
- CT certification (ARRT-CT) must be obtained within 1 year of hire
- Employer supports certification preparation and testing
WHAT THEY OFFER
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Evening shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- No weekends (unless coverage needed)

Compensation:
- Salary: $85,500 - $110,000 (based on experience)
- $10,000 sign-on bonus

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
You're an experienced radiologic technologist with at least a year of X-ray experience who's ready to expand into CT imaging (or already CT-certified). You work well independently, handle fast-paced clinical environments with composure, and genuinely care about patient comfort and safety. You're looking for predictable evening hours, excellent benefits, and a supportive work environment in a beautiful location that offers lower cost of living and outdoor recreation. You're either licensed in Massachusetts or willing to obtain licensure, and you're committed to obtaining your CT certification within the first year.
