Insurance Defense & Litigation In-House Counsel
Outstanding opportunity for 2nd-4 th year associates with insurance or asbestos litigation experience to move in-house and manage cases. Terrific work-life balance and collegial team.
Manage environmental, asbestos, and latent claims under supervision. Review coverage, coordinate defense counsel, set reserves, and support claim resolution, including mediations. Partner with legal, reinsurance, and internal teams to ensure timely payments, documentation, and compliance.
Requirements:
- 3+ years P&C claims or relevant legal experience
- JD required
- Strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills
- MS Word/Excel proficiency
- CPCU or adjuster license a plus
