CT Tech | $3,641/week

The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.

• Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging

• A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

Modality: CAT Scan Technologist (CT Tech)

Hours per Week: 32-40

Shifts: 4x10s, 3x12s, and 2x16s offered

Minimum Experience and Certification Required:

-Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

-Graduate an American Medical Association (AMA) Accredited Radiography Program.

-Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

-Valid Massachusetts State License in Radiation Control.

-Must have certification from an accredited CT program or currently registered in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, 3 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist OR 1 year current (within the last 5 years) CT Tech experience.

-Current BLS
