Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Seeking an integrated primary mental health care therapist, to provide a wide range of psychosocial evaluation/assessment, diagnostic, counseling therapy, crisis intervention, and/or case management services in an integrated primary care setting located in a Central MA clinic.
Works collaboratively with other mental health and medical providers and trainees engaged in related therapeutic/patient care activities.
Commitment to providing mental health care to families in a medically underserved community.
Ability to lead the department in directions most appropriate for fulfilling the mental health care needs of health center patients and the community at large.
Ability to deal with sensitive information in a highly confidential manner.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with patients, families, visitors, co-workers, health care professionals, funders, and other regulatory agencies.
Awareness of resources available within the health center to accommodate the needs of patients.
Ability to form connections with service providers outside of the health center to provide better health care for our patients and the community at large.
Requirements
Experience in providing integrated primary mental health care in collaboration with medical providers.
Experience with a broad range of mental health presentations and treatment modalities.Licensed in Massachusetts as a provider of mental health services a plus.
