Job Title: CT Technologist

Location: Falmouth, MA 02540

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Pay Rate: $55 – $60/hour

• Perform CT scans using prescribed imaging techniques with attention to technical detail and patient safety.

• Operate scanners and related equipment, calibrating and adjusting as needed.

• Position patients appropriately and apply immobilization devices when necessary.

• Review imaging requests and clarify with providers as needed.

• Communicate procedures effectively to patients to ensure cooperation and reduce anxiety.

• Assist physicians or nurses during procedures; monitor patients as needed.

• Record and maintain accurate imaging records and documentation.

• Apply proper radiation safety measures for patients and staff.

• Evaluate image quality and retake scans when necessary.

• Administer or assist in administering contrast media (if trained and permitted).

• Comply with hospital infection control, safety, and departmental policies.

• Participate in professional development and meet continuing education requirements.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and deliver care with professionalism and empathy.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiography Program.

• ARRT registration in Radiologic Technology.

• Valid Massachusetts State License in Radiation Control.

• Certified in CT by ARRT or completion of an accredited CT program.

• Experience Requirements (one of the following):

  • 3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, OR

  • 1 year as a Radiologic Technologist at CCH, OR

  • 1 year of recent CT Tech experience (within the last 5 years).

• Current BLS certification.

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
