Job Details: We are seeking a motivated, ambitious, and skilled Business Development Account Executive to join our thriving construction company. This role is perfect for an individual with a strong background in HVAC and experience working with general contractors to win business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and driving our company's growth. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to make a real impact in our organization. Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to meet or exceed sales targets.2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction industry.
3. Cultivate strong relationships with general contractors and other key stakeholders to win business.
4. Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
5. Conduct cold calls and other lead generation activities to create a robust sales pipeline.
6. Act as a "hunter," relentlessly pursuing and closing new business deals.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
8. Stay current on industry trends and competitor activities to inform business development strategies.
9. Provide regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and account performance. Qualifications: 1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proven track record in HVAC and working with general contractors to win business.
3. Strong sales skills, including cold calling, lead generation, and account management.
4. Demonstrated ability to act as a "hunter," consistently identifying and closing new business opportunities.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
6. Self-motivated and ambitious, with a strong drive to succeed.
7. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
8. Knowledge of the construction industry, including current trends and competitor activities.
