Location: Charlestown, MA

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.57 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Monitor and control access points to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for personnel, visitors, and property.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the auto facility and its perimeter to help deter potential issues and identify any irregularities.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access procedures and provide directions or information as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to support security-related operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
