- 8:00 AM â 4:30 PM
- 2:00 PM â 10:00 PM
Pay: $24 â $27/hour
Location: Waltham, MA
About the Job
Weâre looking for a reliable Day Porter to help keep a busy facility clean, safe, and presentable. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, stays active throughout the day, and can work independently.
If youâve got janitorial experience and like steady work with a consistent schedule, this is a great opportunity.
What Youâll Do
- Perform daily cleaning and building walkthroughs
- Collect and dispose of trash throughout the facility
- Clean and restock restrooms and common areas
- Mop, sweep, vacuum, and buff floors
- Dust and disinfect high-touch surfaces
- Keep cleaning supplies stocked and organized
- Perform spot cleaning as needed
- Assist with basic building tasks (light bulb changes, minor upkeep)
- Support cleaning of clinical or sensitive areas following procedures
What Weâre Looking For
- 2â4 years of janitorial or custodial experience
- Experience in healthcare or clinical environments preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Comfortable using cleaning equipment and supplies safely
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and follow instructions in English
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Clean driving record preferred
- Basic computer skills a plus (emails, reports, work orders)
