Pharmacy Technician
Job Title: Pharmacy Floor Techncian (Evening Shift)

Pay Rate: $24/hr (Paid Weekly)
Work Location: 140 LOCKE Dr STE C, Marlborough MA 01752
Contract to hire: 02/02/2026 to 05/01/2026 (this is a temp to perm job. Once converted you would be eligible for a $1000 sign on bonus)
Work Schedule: Evening shift 3:30 pm-12am, rotating weekends and holidays.
Position Overview
The Pharmacy Floor Technician is responsible for preparing prescription medications for final verification by a pharmacist. This role involves picking, labeling, scanning, packaging, and organizing medications with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. The technician supports daily pharmacy operations, maintains workstation organization, and ensures compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently fill daily drug orders under pharmacist supervision.
Pick medications from shelving, prepack racks, and designated storage areas.
Apply labels to blister cards and scan products to ensure accuracy.
Alert the pharmacist on duty regarding any medication or product that fails to scan properly.
Assist in processing returned medications and manage disposal or recycling according to procedures.
Prepack frequently ordered medications, label, and store as needed during low-volume periods.
Manually package materials and products.
Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked workstation.
Comply with all applicable regulations, including HIPAA.
Adhere to departmental policies related to safety, attendance, and dress code.
Work overtime, holidays, or weekends as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Active and clear Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License issued by the MA Board of Pharmacy.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous pharmacy technician experience.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently throughout the day.
Ability to sit or stand for 7–10 hours per day.
Ability to work extended hours as needed.
