Talent Analyst Co-op - July 2026 Start
Program Dates: July 6, 2026 - December 18, 2026
The base pay for this position is $24 per hour
This is a Boston based opportunity with a 4 day in office expectation (Monday - Thursday) with 1 day remote (Friday)

Co-ops on the team gain hands-on experience applying analytics to real business questions, while developing strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. Successful candidates are curious, thoughtful, and eager to learn, with an interest in using data to inform decisions and improve organizational effectiveness.
What You’ll Do:
Scope, develop and manage end-to-end analyses (gather requirements, establish key metrics, test hypotheses) to address difficult business questions and improve the recruiter and candidate experience
Present analyses and insights to teams across Talent and the Business
Navigate our People Analytics platform (Visier) to answer questions and build customized views for various business leaders
Leverage or learn Google Big Query to extract and manipulate talent data for ad hoc requests and projects
Cultivate relationships and collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify opportunities and learnings, and create efficiencies through new tools and recommendations
Examples of past projects on this team include collecting and analyzing survey data, creating an infrastructure to aggregate and analyze recruiting data, and evaluating performance review cycle results
What You’ll Need:
Basic Qualifications:
Current Sophomore, Junior, or Senior student pursuing an undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Math, Statistics, Business/Economics, Information Systems, Analytics) with a 3.0 GPA minimum
Must be returning to the course of study following the completion of the Co-op
Ability to commit to working 40 hours/week (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) July 6, 2026 - December 18, 2026 in our Boston office
You must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong academic performance with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Curious, creative thinker with an interest in improving talent and business processes
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a positive and collaborative working style
Proficiency in advanced Excel or Google Sheets; experience with SQL, R, or Python is a plus
Ability to quickly learn new technical tools and apply them effectively
Professional maturity and integrity in handling confidential and sensitive data
Demonstrated leadership through campus or extracurricular involvement
