Group Supervisor, Fulfillment Center

Job Summary:

As a Group Supervisor at our Walgreens fulfillment center, you will serve as a pivotal leader, mentor, and coach to others. You will help team members unlock their full potential through personalized guidance and professional development. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes as you foster a culture of excellence within our closed-door pharmacy setting. You will build and nurture meaningful relationships with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. This position is located in our climate-controlled, closed-door pharmacy facility featuring advanced automation technology and modern amenities.

While this is subject to change, an individual in this position would likely work the second shift, roughly 2:30 PM to 12:30 AM local time, 4 days per week for this position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Resolves and/or provides technical advice on complex or critical issues
• Determines and initiates appropriate resolution for escalations. Reports issues/concern, when appropriate.
• Supervises daily activities of all team members for scheduled shift and provides feedback and coaching of team members according to quality standards.
• Responsible for coaching and developing team members and leads.
• Conducts performance reviews with team members, identifies opportunities for development, and recommends sustainable solutions to achieve necessary results.
• Continues to look for ways to improve current processes with enhancements and ideas. Makes recommendations on process improvements.
• Maintains working relationships and cooperates actively with all levels and areas of management to ensure that the objectives of the department and company are met.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as company and facility policies and procedures. Maintains standards of performance in accordance with policies and procedures (e.g., HIPAA guidelines/regulations, insurance, and fraud abuse guidelines, required productivity levels, timeliness expectations, etc.).

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR High school diploma/GED and at least 4 years of experience working in a fulfillment, logistics or centralized service setting.
• Ability to be licensed as a Pharmacy Technician by the state Board of Pharmacy or nationally recognized certification agency within the state mandated timeline and PTCB Certified within twelve months of placement in position.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team, coaching, mentoring, and training staff.
• Experience with MS Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying knowledge of Workforce Management Systems (WMS)
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience working in a pharmacy fulfillment setting.

Salary Range: $63100 - $101200 / Salaried
