First Article Inspector
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive First Article Inspector to join our team in Beverly, MA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards before they hit the production floor. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality assurance, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of first articles to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records for traceability.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address any discrepancies or quality issues.
- Utilize measuring tools and equipment to assess product dimensions and functionality.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements based on inspection findings.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on quality standards and inspection techniques.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inspection protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in quality assurance is a plus.
- Proven experience in quality inspection or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
