Shift: Night shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM) with every other weekend and every other holiday. Work setting: Acute Psychiatric Facility (inpatient behavioral health). Travel - Temporary Assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients with psychiatric conditions in an inpatient unit, participating in assessments, medication administration, and care planning under the treatment plan.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and document patient goals and interventions, using a trauma-informed recovery approach.
- Maintain a safe therapeutic milieu, monitor patient safety, de-escalate crises, and assist with restraints as needed; document care and events in the electronic medical record.
- Assume charge responsibilities when required and be willing to float to similar or lower acuity units to support staffing needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff; uphold professional boundaries and promote recovery-focused care.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, safety, privacy, and credentialing requirements; maintain CPR certification and participate in crisis intervention activities as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- BSN preferred; not required
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient psychiatric experience
- CPR certification required
- Restraint reduction/de-escalation/crisis intervention experience preferred
- Ability to float to similar or lower acuity units and work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and basic computer skills
