Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Subject Matter Expert (SME) in NetBrain and SolarWinds to lead the final phase of a critical network tools implementation project. This role will ensure both platforms are fully leveraged to support network visibility, health assessments, configuration management, and real-time monitoring across a large-scale retail infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the SME for both NetBrain and SolarWinds, guiding their simultaneous use to optimize network performance and visibility.

Finalize the NetBrain implementation, ensuring it fulfills its intended purpose for mapping, troubleshooting, and telemetry-based diagnostics.

Utilize NetBrain to automate configuration management and support infrastructure health assessments for internal audits.

Deploy and optimize SolarWinds for comprehensive monitoring of routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.

Create dynamic visualizations and topology maps using NetBrain to support real-time troubleshooting and documentation.

Integrate both tools into existing workflows and ensure seamless data flow between systems.

Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to internal teams to maximize tool adoption and effectiveness.

Skills and Requirements

• Strong background and knowledge in Network Engineering

• Subject Matter Expert with NetBrain and proven track record of deploying, configuring, and optimizing both tools in large enterprise environments, preferably retail.

• Experience using NetBrain for automated configuration management and infrastructure health assessments aligned with audit requirements.
