Job Summary

We are looking for an Automotive Service Advisor to work as a service writer, handle customer relations, and assist with parts procurement. We are seeking a friendly, outgoing professional who has strong customer service skills and willing to learn the basics of auto service. The Service Advisor will maintain a high level of customer engagement with the ability to convert service inquiries into sale. Customer satisfaction is critical to your success in this role, so previous experience is preferred.

Every day is different in our busy automotive service center! You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including assigning service jobs to Automotive Technician, addressing customer inquiries, and managing required documentation.

Responsibilities

• Meet and assist customers with service needs
• Create service estimates and make service recommendations
• Complete estimate review with customers in timely manner
• Follow up with customers after completed repairs
• Address customer concerns and/or complaints in a professional manner
• Interact with vendors to coordinate purchase and delivery of parts
• Manage the flow of service department paperwork, including manuals, invoices, repair orders, and maintenance records
• Maintain a positive work environment and customer satisfaction while maintaining profitability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required bachelor’s degree preferred
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record are required
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug and background screening
• Excellent customer service skills
• Willing to learn and self-improve
• Ability to positively collaborate in a team
• One year experience as an automotive service writer, Parts Procurement or service advisor is preferred.
• Good understanding of automotive technology, automotive service technician job duties, and automotive repair services is preferred
