Position: Restaurant Lead & Operations Guide

Position Overview

Central Pizza & Pub is looking for a dependable, detail‑driven leader who thrives on structure, consistency, and teamwork. This role is designed for someone who understands the importance of guidelines and follows them with pride — while teaching, mentoring, and inspiring others to do the same.

The Restaurant Lead & Operations Guide supports all areas of the restaurant, moving seamlessly between positions as needed. From guest service to expo to line support, this person sets the tone for professionalism, calm under pressure, and high standards. Team members look to this role for guidance, clarity, and steady leadership during busy shifts.

This is an hourly leadership role, not a traditional manager position. It’s perfect for someone who wants to lead by example, elevate team performance, and help maintain a smooth, organized, and guest‑focused operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example in all areas of service, hospitality, and operations
• Uphold and reinforce restaurant guidelines, procedures, and standards
• Mentor and support team members with patience, clarity, and consistency
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail in cleanliness, organization, and workflow
• Move between positions with ease (FOH, BOH, expo, support, guest service)
• Assist with shift flow, problem‑solving, and guest satisfaction
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, guests, and leadership
• Stay calm and effective during high‑volume or high‑pressure situations
• Support training of new team members and ongoing development of existing staff
• Help maintain a positive, respectful, team‑oriented environment

Qualifications

• Strong leadership presence — someone others naturally follow
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable enforcing rules, standards, and procedures
• Ability to multitask and shift roles quickly
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Cool under pressure with a guest‑first mindset
• Prior restaurant experience required; leadership experience strongly preferred
• Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays

Schedule & Compensation

• Flexible schedule once established
• Nights/weekends/holidays required
• Starting pay: $22/hour , with increases based on performance and contribution
