Field Manager

An established and growing full-service landscaping company is looking for a Field Manager to join our Landscape Management Division. This position plays a key leadership role in the successful execution of the high level of service we provide to our clients. The Field Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of their team, ensuring productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise field employees.
  • Manage crews in the field along with working beside them.
  • Coordinate resources including labor, equipment, and materials. 
  • Order materials and supplies to ensure jobs remain on schedule. 
  • Maintain inventory control and management of tools and supplies. 
  • Ensure timely and on-budget completion of work while adhering to safety, quality, and overtime standards.
  • Work to reach company monthly, quarterly, and yearly production goals.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks and evaluate completed work. 
  • Assist with efficiency improvements across all field operations. 
  • Contribute to the training and mentorship of crew leaders and crew members. 
  • Provide excellent customer service and clear communication with clients and internal teams. 
  • Assist in all aspects of the department’s daily operations, including scheduling, logistics, training, and planning. 
  • Manage assigned snow zones during winter operations. 
  • Estimate contract and enhancement work and contribute to proposals. 
Qualifications:
  • Must have valid drivers licenses, reasonably clean driving record, and possess DOT medical card. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Crew Leader in landscape maintenance or enhancement. 
  • Minimum of five years of total landscaping experience. 
  • Working knowledge of all aspects of landscape operations: large or small, commercial or residential. 
  • Experience operating a plow truck, salter, and skid steer loader. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills. 
  • Self-motivated and accountable with the ability to lead by example. 
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 
  • Hoisting and Pesticide Licenses or working to obtain. 
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test. 

Job Type: Full-time 

Base salary range based on experience: $60,000 – $80,000
Full benefits and compensation package value $70,000 - $105,000
