Job Type: Seasonal (On-Call for Snow Events)
About Us: We are looking for responsible and experienced Plow Truck Drivers to join our snow removal team. Our company is committed to maintaining safe and efficient work environments during winter weather events. As a Plow Truck Driver, you will play a critical role in keeping our client sites clear and safe, with no shoveling involved. Smart phone usage is required for site documentation and time keeping. Responsibilities:- Operate plow trucks to remove snow from designated areas and apply salt to roads, parking lots, and other surfaces.
- Follow assigned routes and work plans to ensure efficient snow removal.
- Utilize dash cam-monitored vehicles to ensure safe and accountable driving. Dash cams must remain on at all times.
- Communicate promptly with the office if weather conditions change or if any issues arise.
- Work collaboratively with other site personnel and maintain professionalism.
- Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Problem-solve independently while on the job site.
- Valid drivers license (required).
- OSHA certification (required).
- Valid D.O.T. card (required).
- Clean driving record preferred.
- Experience driving plow trucks or similar equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in changing weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team of other drivers and site workers.
- Must be available to work during snowstorms, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
