Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The role involves working Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The position offers a competitive pay scale based on experience, ranging from $26 to $36 per hour. Candidates will work under the guidance of a Master Mechanic and an Assistant within the Maintenance department.

• Perform full service repairs on diesel engines and tractor trailers independently.
• Collaborate with a team on the maintenance and repair of a fleet of diesel vehicles or material handling equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot various engine problems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on diesel engines.
• Disassemble and reassemble engine components.

• 10+ years of experience for high-level service repairs.
• 5+ years of experience working on a fleet of diesel technicians or material handling equipment.
• 2-3+ years of experience with pickup diesel trucks or similar engines.
• Proficiency in diesel mechanics, troubleshooting, repair, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

• Tech school training in Diesel Mechanic or Engine Repair is advantageous.
• Skills in welding and fabricating are a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Southbridge, MA.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr.
