inTEST Thermal Solutions (iTS) specializes in the design and manufacture of precision temperature control systems. Our breadth of products and in-house engineering capabilities allow us to be a single-partner-solution for thermal test, process cooling, and cold storage applications. We are recognized globally for our expertise in precise temperature control and simulation of extreme thermal environments, from -185 to +500°ree;C, with rapid transitions or long dwell times. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible to assist with the direction and implementation of marketing planning and development, and pricing strategy policy and procedures, under the direction of the VP of Sales & Marketing. Gives thoughtful input regarding product specifications, product development and introduction, product improvement; and marketing research . Analyzes and reports on competitive sales efforts.
Requirements:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for assisting and supporting implementation of soundly developed planning, management, and communication skills as they relate to the marketing, advertising, and product introduction efforts.
Ability to relate constructively to the customer, representatives, and to various departments of the Company.
Develops sales marketing aides and materials; the planning and conduct of special drives. Manage the inflow of market and competitive information, new opportunities, customer needs.
Establish sources of information to be informed concerning industry trends, competitive activities, market opportunities, and customer needs. Communicate significant information promptly to concerned units of the Company, particularly with respect to competitive summaries and analysis.
Plans, directs and administers the marketing communications efforts of the company. Manages the marketing communications program and all relevant activities relating to product literature, website, promotional materials, product photography, advertising, publications media, internal technical, publications and inquiry processing.
Administers departmental budget including forecasting, proposals and recommendations for all marketing department expenditures. Tracks all expenditures for tradeshow, designers, materials and services.
Participant in the creation of new brochures, technical datasheets and promotional materials, authoring text (interfacing with engineering department on content), supervising vendors in the graphic design, photography, and final production; negotiating contracts and schedules with vendors.
Administers and directs the trade show/exhibits efforts of the corporation, including responsibility for annual expenditures, schedule, negotiation of contracts and implementation of show logistics, marketing communications events and promotions. Coordinates with inTEST marketing department for certain shared-booth trade show efforts.
Responsible for the creation of trade show graphics, including the direction of vendors regarding design and production.
Responsible for advertising and new product release campaigns, authoring and distributing news releases to trade publications worldwide, negotiating contracts and evaluating results. Coordinates advertising and press efforts with international distributors, as required.
Using desktop publishing system, designs datasheets, application notes and other collateral materials, supervising the production of such literature pieces with service bureaus and printing firms.
Writes Technical Bulletins, announcements and other internal communications, disseminates materials to sales department, sales representatives and distributors.
Coordinates and administers logistics, including production of materials and assisting sales team in preparing presentations for Worldwide Sales Training Meetings.
In cooperation with Engineering department, maintains inventory number/revision control of all collateral material, including documentation of content changes through the company’s inventory control system.
Administers a portfolio on the company-wide network (LAN), containing product photography, literature, technical bulletins and other technical materials to facilitate quick response to inquiries and other sales efforts.
Additional duties may be assigned.
Education Requirements
Degree BSEE or BSBA with strong technical background.
Experience Preferred
2 years experience in marketing preferred.
Knowledge of publishing software and understand the use of digital photography
Experience with HubSpot
Strong written and verbal communication skills
