Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatrics with a holistic mindset. This role involves working with children and teens of all ages and abilities. There is a potential for working with some adult clients as well.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific goals and challenges (OT).
• Provide weekly individual and group treatment.
• Collaborate with the therapy team and family to ensure effective communication throughout the treatment process.
• Document progress and modify care plans based on ongoing assessments and outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for continued improvement outside of therapy sessions.
• Stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy techniques.

Qualifications

We are looking for an OT for 2-3 days a week, completing an average of 10-15 OT sessions per week. Hours will depend on the needs of the clinic. Opportunities to grow this position into more hours are likely.

Required:
*Excellent time management skills
*Flexibility
*Able to work as a team player
*Able to initiate caseload with little supervision
*Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable speaking with families with compassion
*Current MA OT license
*Experience and ease with running both individual and group sessions of varying abilities
*Pediatric experience and having a holistic mindset are a must!

Preferred:
*2+ years experience
*Experience supporting individuals with sensory processing differences
*Experience supporting individuals with emotional regulation fluctuations
*Experience with assessing and/or providing treatment for children with retained reflexes
