We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial operations and support our continued growth.

Position Overview

The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, budget and forecasts, and development of internal control policies and procedures. This role is critical in ensuring the financial health and integrity of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a team of 0, responsible for all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
• Understand and track all expenses and all revenue
• Prepare financial forecasts and reports, identify potential issues, and communicate them with the company owner
• Independently prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Ensure 100% accuracy of all financial entries
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Manage relationships with vendors relevant to the accounting department, including external accounting firm, payroll service providers, insurance brokers, etc.
• Assist in strategic financial planning and decision-making
• Chase late payments in a way that improves the relationship with the customer while ensuring that all monies due are collected as quickly as possible

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Controller or similar role in a B2B capital equipment environment
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work independently with minimal oversight in a sometimes-chaotic environment
• Comfortable with technology and automation. Always looking for a way to improve efficiency and accuracy through new tools

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
