Your impact

• Increase equipment availability through condition-based, predictive, and preventive maintenance.
• Assist with installing and qualifying new machinery and facility systems.
• Perform scheduled inspections and record results with GMP-compliant detail.
• Respond to unplanned maintenance needs in a 24/7 operation; share rotating on‑call duties.
• Own parts readiness and maintain accurate downtime and corrective action records.
• Service HVAC, lighting, electrical distribution/wiring, and mechanical components.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout, SDS/MSDS, environmental, and hot‑work protocols without exception.
• Engage in continuous improvement and address audit feedback constructively.
• Build your expertise via training, certifications, and hands‑on experience.
• Leverage a CMMS to execute work orders, log work, and complete training.
• Uphold the STERIS Code of Business Conduct, GMP standards, and all safety requirements.

Role details

Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Thursday – Saturday with rotating Wednesdays

Pay: $30.00/hour plus $1.25/hour shift differential

What you need to succeed

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Practical experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical, or electrical systems.
• Blueprint/schematic reading capability.
• Computer literacy for work orders, documentation, and basic applications.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs; clear, professional communication.
• Fit for respirator use; comfortable working in warm or industrial settings.

Preferred

• PLC or automation/controls familiarity.
• Analytical mindset with strong organization and math skills.
• Self-managed and adaptable to shifting priorities.
• Background in industrial or manufacturing environments.

Also important

• Dependable, punctual, collaborative, and detail-oriented.
• Willing to support a 24/7/365 operation, including holidays.
