We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Trauma Surgery . In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients in Beverly. Your expertise in trauma surgery will be vital in ensuring the well-being and recovery of patients in critical conditions. You will be involved in a variety of trauma surgery projects, contributing to the overall success of our healthcare staffing solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Performing trauma surgeries on patients with critical injuries.
• Assessing patients' conditions and determining appropriate treatment plans.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participating in rounds, consultations, and medical conferences.
• Documenting patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately.
• Adhering to medical protocols, standards, and safety regulations.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families.
• Responding to medical emergencies and providing timely interventions.

Requirements:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Trauma Surgery or relevant specialty.
• Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
• Proven experience in performing trauma surgeries in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make quick decisions.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care and documentation.

Schedule: 24-hour weekend call (Friday-Monday), specific dates

General surgery and trauma surgery cases

Must be board-certified
