21CCLC Summer PBL Activity Leaders (High School or Warren Elementary) Mon-Thurs hours 8:30-2:15 Reports to: Site Coordinator Primary Function: To supervise students, lead learning and enrichment activities, maintain safe and controlled environment. Able to write and teach lessons in a Project Based Learning environment.Funded by: 21CCLCQualifications: Training in High Quality Project Based Learning is preferredExperience working with studentsCapable of writing and teaching high quality lessons with activity extensions21st CCLC experience preferred but not necessaryAbility to generate engaging activities as neededExperience with discipline prevention strategiesGood Communication skillsNeed to be punctual, professional, and a team playerResponsibilities: Participate in planning time and lesson writingLead, monitor and enthusiastically participate with students during learning, enrichment, and activity periodsEffectively write and implement a variety of lessons and activities in the summer programReport student achievements/concerns to Site CoordinatorSupport a safe and clean environmentCommunicate with parents and/or teaching staffFill out and return surveys in timely mannerDirect college and high school interns to ensure they are supporting student learning All lessons must be turned in prior to the beginning of the programSalary: $25 (this position is appropriate for Quaboag adult employees who are uncertified staff who will teach and lead Project Based Learning summer lessons)Closing date for applications: Open until filledStart Date: July 6, 2025 (attend planning sessions prior to July 6th, date to be determined)Apply to: Kristi Kenyon [email protected] Warren ElementaryMadeline Smola [email protected] Quaboag Regional High SchoolQuaboag Regional School District insures equal employment and educational opportunities for its employees and students.
