Boston Speech Therapy is excited to announce an opening for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position dedicated to working with high school students. This role provides a unique opportunity to support adolescents in improving their communication skills and overcoming speech and language challenges. As an SLPA, you will work directly under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist, assisting in providing therapy tailored to the needs of high school students.
The position offers an hourly rate of $50, and you will be part of a supportive team committed to making a difference in the lives of students.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologist in evaluating and diagnosing high school students
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Speech Language Pathologist
- Conduct therapy sessions to enhance communication and language skills
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress
- Educate students and families on communication strategies and techniques
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to create an inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- State certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working with high school students preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team setting
- High attention to detail and effective organizational skills
- A commitment to following treatment plans and working under supervision
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development in the field of Speech Language Pathology
Benefits

45 -55 per hour
