Work a special schedule beyond normal business hours, including occasional evening or weekend hours, driven by operational needs to meet programming and individual needs.
Travel Demands: Local travel is required to ensure individual needs are met.
As our Coordinator of Behavior Services (BCBA) - Adult Program, you spend your time designing and implementing individualized behavior support plans, using your expertise to conduct functional behavior assessments and deliver data-informed interventions. You are a coach and a mentor, providing ongoing training to direct care staff and ensuring they have the tools to succeed. You collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, sharing insights and data to shape a cohesive support system. Your responsibilities range from providing in-person crisis support when needed to supervising a dedicated team of Behavior Specialists. You are constantly assessing and adjusting, ensuring that all policies and procedures meet the highest standards of safety and compliance. It is a day of continuous engagement, focused on empowering both the individuals we serve and the team that supports them.
If you can do this and meet the following requirements, you might be a perfect fit!
- Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, social work, or a related field
- BCBA certification
- 3 to 5 years of post-graduate experience assessing, implementing, developing, and overseeing behavior intervention programs and Functional Behavior Assessments
- Experience working with people with special needs or in a residential care setting
- A commitment to obtain CPR, First Aid, and non-violent physical intervention certifications within 3 months of hire and maintain certifications during employment
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Reliable transportation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn and use other software, such as web-based portals, etc.
- Experience in Positive Behavior Supports (PBS), Trauma-Informed Care, and ABA strategies is preferred
