Now Hiring: Travel Oncology Pharmacist | Western Massachusetts
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: MondayFriday | Day Shifts (~7:00 AM3:30 PM or 8:00 AM4:30 PM)
Duration: 13 Weeks (Temp-to-Hire Option Available)
Setting: Cancer & Infusion Center

A specialized cancer center in the Berkshire area is seeking an experienced Oncology Pharmacist for a travel assignment. This is a full-time, weekday role with opportunities to contribute to clinical care, research, and operational development in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient therapy plans for safety and appropriateness, with age-specific considerations

• Prevent adverse drug events through clinical intervention and ongoing monitoring

• Prepare and oversee IV admixtures, chemotherapy, and sterile products

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff

• Collaborate with medical teams to develop new treatment protocols

• Provide education on new regimens to clinical staff

• Manage medication inventory and ensure pliance with regulatory standards

• Help standardize chemotherapeutic ordering procedures

• Participate in clinical research and professional development programs

Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years of acute care clinical pharmacy experience

• Sterile pounding and chemo mixing experience is REQUIRED

• pletion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency in Oncology (strongly preferred)

• Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) (strongly preferred)

• Ability to work independently within established policies and procedures

• Experience with specialty pharmacy medication management

• Must have reliable transportation for travel
