Mobility Mentor (AMP Up)
- Coaching for s uccess by p roviding personalized one-on-one Mobility Mentoring coaching to at least 25 participants, with a focus on various aspects related to promoting economic mobility, including housing, budgeting, career and education, childcare, healthcare, and more.
- Tracking progress , t horoughly assessing and maintaining detailed records based on individual plans to assist participants in staying on course and reaching their goals.
- Managing and regularly entering data to support both internal decision-making and external research efforts, contributing to program refinement for maximum impact.
- Marketing and recruiting potential program candidates , expanding our reach to those who could b enefit from our services.
- Develop ing and facilitat ing participant workshops and community groups to support and enhance participant learning.
- Building c ommunit y among participants and facilitating meaningful connections between them, promoting a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Experience or training in human services coaching.
- Ability to manage a case load of up to 25 participants effectively and efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of workforce development, economic literacy, education, and career exploration.
- Ability to work collaboratively with partners, colleagues, and participants .
- Cultural competency and sensitivity with groups and individuals representing a variety of needs, abilities, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Ability to respond flexibly to a fluid and evolving program environment.
- Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent computer skills, including data entry.
- Bilingual in English and Haitian Creole.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Basic knowledge of principles of community organizing, service coordination, and advocacy to initiate /coordinate service delivery and follow-up services.
- Connections to community resources and institutions within the area of expertise is a plus.
