Clinical Research Coordinator
Our client, a healthcare research company based in Boston's Longwood Medical Area, is hiring a Clinical Research Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of ongoing clinical trials. This role works closely with principal investigators, sponsors, and study participants to ensure trials are conducted in compliance with protocol requirements and regulatory standards.
The coordinator will manage participant recruitment, informed consent, data collection, and documentation across multiple concurrent studies. This position requires close attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work within a fast-paced academic medical research environment.
This is a full-time, on-site role suited for someone with prior clinical research or healthcare experience who is looking to grow within a structured research organization.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all phases of assigned clinical trials from startup through closeout
- Screen, recruit, and consent study participants according to protocol
- Maintain accurate case report forms and source documentation
- Schedule and conduct participant visits and follow-up assessments
- Track and report adverse events to the appropriate regulatory bodies
- Prepare study materials and documentation for sponsor and IRB audits
- Manage investigational product inventory and accountability logs
- Communicate study status updates to principal investigators and sponsors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, nursing, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of clinical research or healthcare experience
- Working knowledge of GCP and FDA regulatory guidelines
- Experience with electronic data capture systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple studies and competing deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinical trial management software
- CCRC or CCRP certification preferred
