Lead Development Representative (LDR) - Temp to Perm
The Lead Development Representative (LDR) serves as the first line of evaluation for agents interested in selling the Bridge™ product. Through structured, high-level screening focused on professional background and licensing readiness, LDRs ensure that only qualified and suitable agents advance to sales conversations.
This role supports strong relationships across carrier, distributor, and agent communities while enabling scalable growth across the Assured Allies portfolio.
Purpose of this role:
The LDR role exists to separate, qualify, and evaluate incoming agent interest , including both inbound inquiries and targeted outbound (cold) outreach. By handling early-stage screening, LDRs allow Sales Directors to focus on high–Return on Investment (ROI) conversations rather than preliminary qualification.
By acting as the first line of evaluation, LDRs:
• Initiate and qualify agent conversations through inbound leads and outbound outreach
• Ensure alignment with professional and set standards
• Prevent unqualified agents from entering the sales pipeline
• Support sustainable growth without compromising standards
• When connecting with agents already selling the Bridge™ product, assess interest in additional support and facilitate introductions to the Sales team when appropriate
Required Qualifications:
• 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, lead qualification, business development, customer success, or call-based roles
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to conduct structured, professional conversations
• Comfort making outbound calls and handling inbound inquiries
• Ability to follow defined screening criteria and qualification frameworks
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Basic proficiency with CRM systems, scheduling tools, and call tracking platforms
• Ability to maintain professionalism, neutrality, and consistency across all agent interactions
• Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace (if remote)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with licensed insurance agents, financial professionals, or B2B sales environments
• Familiarity with sales pipelines, lead stages, and handoff processes
• Experience supporting multiple stakeholders (e.g., Sales Directors, RevOps)
• Exposure to regulated industries (insurance, finance, healthcare)
• Comfort working in a metrics-driven environment
(Note: This is currently a remote position. Occasional travel to our Needham, MA office for work functions may be required.)
